It is Heat-treated, made up of Steel with Electro-Zinc Plated for corrosion resistance. The Cap is made of 304 stainless steel will never rust. It features a 12-24 x 1-1/2 inch TEKS 5 screw length with threads for 3/8 inch rod. UL and FM tests were performed in compliance with NFPA 13 Standards.
